Unity Care Solutions are currently looking for care workers to help support babies, children and young adults with additional needs in Maidstone, Tonbridge, Rochester, Ashford and the surrounding areas. These children live in their own homes and can require a variety of visits either daily or weekly. Visits can be before school, after school, bed calls, social calls, block hour calls and/or nights.
We have a vacancy available for an experienced care support worker, contracted 20 hours per week with the option of overtime if desired.
We are looking for staff with a flexible approach that are willing to cover a selection of the visits on a rota basis. This can be on a part time or full time flexible basis and staff can work with multiple clients in order to give a variety and the desired number of hours.
The ideal candidate will
-Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care – Essential
-A minimum of 1 years recent care experience – Essential
-Have experience working with children- Desirable
-Have experience working with complex needs – Desirable
-Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence – Essential
Care worker / Support worker / Home care assistant Maidstone and surrounding areas.
20 hour contract with a starting salary of £17,680 pro-rata (part time equivalent £8,840) PLUS additional enhancements available for unsocial hours.
We also pay a mileage allowance + 28 days paid holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) + Uniform + Stakeholder pension scheme + Free training to NVQ/QCF level + Exciting ongoing training opportunities.
Staff will be required to complete varied tasks such as:
-Completing documentation and paperwork
-Liaising with families and professionals including social workers
