Role: Complex Healthcare Assistant

Location of care package: Steyning

Hourly pay rate: £16.00 per hour

Shifts available: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12 hour shifts (TBC)

The job role:

We are recruiting for experienced Complex Healthcare Assistants to support our teenage client at home based in Steyning. They have a history of bone fractures and has infusions to support with bone health. They are a wheelchair user but prefers to be on the floor and can move around in a limited way. They are fully dependant on others for all aspects of their care, are non verbal and has restricted vision. Medication is required enterally, they suffer from multiple seizures per day with a range of presentations and may need oral suctioning to protect the airway from seizure activity.
