About The Role
We are seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to support a young female client with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. She is non-verbal, has delayed visual maturation, and requires full support for all daily living tasks and clinical needs.
She enjoys a wide range of engaging activities including arts and crafts, stories and music, imaginary play, gardening, cooking, and using her iPad/tablet. This is a great opportunity for someone who values creativity and connection in care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of regular and as-required medications
- Seizure management, including airway support and saturation monitoring
- PEG feeding via gastrostomy and preparation of blended diet
- Full support with personal care and hygiene (double incontinence)
- Moving and handling support, including hoisting, repositioning, and use of a walker
A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential.
Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.
You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
Available shifts include:
- Nights
- Weekdays
- Weekends

To be successful, you will:
- Minimum 1 year in a complex care setting. PEG Feeding and Epilepsy management desirable but not essential.
- Quick to learn and open to training
- Familiarity with baseline clinical interventions
- Compassionate and kind with a nurturing approach
- Values building strong, trusting relationships in a supportive home environment
- Hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Be able to commit to the minimum availability of shifts
- Hold the right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
