About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Healthcare Assistant to join our complex care team on a contracted 38-hour per week basis. This is a waking night role, requiring flexibility to work across multiple care packages with children and young adults who have complex health needs. Shifts will be scheduled Monday to Sunday, depending on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care during waking night shifts.
  • Manage a range of complex clinical tasks, including:
    • Tracheostomy care and ventilation management
    • Enteral feeding and medication administration
    • Seizure monitoring and administration of emergency medication
    • Suctioning and nebuliser therapy
  • Support with personal care, continence care, and hygiene needs.
  • Assist with safe moving and handling techniques.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records and documentation.
  • Follow individual care plans and clinical protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective care.

A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is required for this role.

Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.

You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
