About The Role
We are looking for a playful and interactive Healthcare Assistant to work with our sociable music-loving 12-year-old client in Hailsham.
This client lives at home with his family but loves school and going out into the community, and particularly enjoys trips to the zoo, as well as playing on his tablet and watching his favourite TV programmes.
Applicants should be experienced in supporting non-verbal clients with complex care needs, including chromosomal disorders, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy.
Available shifts include:
- Week day shifts after school 16:15 – 20:00
You will ideally be able to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week, and will have the opportunity to meet and work alongside other clients supported by the company.
About The Role
Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.
You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
Regular shifts of various lengths are available across the company Monday to Sunday, up to 12 hours in duration. You will be required to commit to regular work to support our clients to access consistent and high-quality care.

The client would particularly like to meet people who:
- Have experience in supporting individuals with similar care needs including cerebral palsy, and non-verbal communication
- Holds a UK driving licence
- Are female
- Have experience in enteral feeding and sensory interaction / play
- Enjoy play and finding new places to visit
- Have at least one year’s experience working in care supporting similar individuals
To be successful, you will:
- Be able to commit to the minimum availability of shifts
- Hold the right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
