About The Role

We are looking for a confident outgoing Healthcare Assistant to work with our 13-year-old client at her home with her family and dog in Hooe near Bexhill.

This client has a rare diagnosis which has resulted in her requiring complex healthcare, including tracheostomy and gastrostomy care. She is non-verbal and enjoys sensory toys and interaction. She loves nursery rhymes, attends school, and loves trips out during the school holidays.

Successful applicants will be required to support the client with a range of complex healthcare needs including enteral feeding, oral suctioning, and nebulisation.

Applicants should be experienced in supporting clients with complex care needs, including suctioning, nebulisers, and rescue medication.

Available shifts include:

  • Weekday shifts after school
  • X2 week day nights per week

You will ideally be able to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week, and will have the opportunity to meet and work alongside other clients supported by the company.

About The Role

Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.

You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.

Regular shifts of various lengths are available across the company Monday to Sunday, up to 12 hours in duration. You will be required to commit to regular work to support our clients to access consistent and high-quality care.

The client would particularly like to meet people who:

  • Are experienced in tracheostomy and gastrostomy care
  • Have at least one year’s experience working in care supporting similar individuals
  • Can communicate with confidence to non-verbal individuals
  • Ideally hold a UK driving licence due to rural location
  • Like dogs!

To be successful, you will:

  • Be able to commit to the minimum availability of shifts
  • Hold the right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
