About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide high quality support to our 17 year old client who has Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy and Autism.
Successful applicants will be required to support him with a range of healthcare needs as well as some clinical aspects and join in with him playing video games, watching television and playing on his tablet.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in one or more of the following:
- Ventilator awareness
- Nebulisers
- Suctioning
- Personal Care
- Manual Handling

About You
Whilst you may not have experience in all of the above care skills, you will be able to demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach towards others, and a natural ability to build positive relationships with those around you.
You will be committed to working in the best interests of the individual(s) you are supporting, diligently working to maintain their health, safety, and wellbeing in accordance with the prescribed needs in their care plans.
Whilst not essential, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage.

We are required to obtain an Enhanced DBS as part of your application, therefore disclosure of any relevant convictions during the application process is necessary.
