About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Community Nurse Supervisor to oversee complex care packages within the community. This role involves supporting nurse-led teams by supervising staff, training new starters, and ensuring high standards of care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing and care staff across multiple complex care packages
- Conduct competency spot checks, including 7-point assessments and infection control audits
- Oversee auditing of care records and documentation to maintain quality and compliance
- Facilitate effective communication during emergency checks and liaise with healthcare professionals
- Assist nurse case managers with care plan reviews and attend child-in-need meetings when required
- Coordinate staffing needs by filling rota gaps and setting up new client packages
- Work closely with the senior nurse case manager to ensure excellent service standards
Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.
You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services. You will ideally have experience of working within community care.
Available shifts include
- Weekend shifts
- Weekdays
- Waking night shifts
- 38 hours per week

To be successful, you will:
- Proven experience in community nursing and complex care supervision
- Strong knowledge of infection control, care auditing, and quality assurance
- Ability to train, mentor, and assess nursing and care staff
- Comfortable working in both community settings and office environments
- Hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Hold active and unrestricted registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
- Be able to commit to the minimum availability of shifts
- Hold the right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
