About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a young client with complex health needs, including epilepsy and a tracheostomy, in a warm and welcoming family home. The client lives in a friendly environment with a dog present.
Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.
You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care and manual handling
- Tracheostomy care, suctioning, and oxygen therapy
- Nebuliser use and pulse oximetry monitoring
- Medication administration (routine and emergency)
- Enteral feeding via gastrostomy
- Seizure monitoring and emergency response
- Social interaction and engagement through play and conversation
Available shifts include:
- Days and Nights
- Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday

To be successful, you will:
- Minimum 1 year experience in complex and community care
- Experience supporting clients with epilepsy and respiratory needs
- Sociable, engaging, and proactive in communication
- Comfortable working in a family home with pets
- Hold the right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
