About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with complex health needs. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care within both home and nursery settings, ensuring the child’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications and support with ongoing health management.
  • Provide respiratory support, including routine monitoring and airway management.
  • Support with enteral feeding and nutritional care.
  • Assist with personal care routines, including continence care, washing, and dressing.
  • Promote mobility, play, and learning through age-appropriate activities.
  • Encourage communication and interaction using supportive methods such as Makaton.

A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential for this role.

Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.

You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.

  • Quick to learn and open to training
  • Be able to commit to the minimum availability of shifts
