About The Role
We are recruiting a compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join a 2:1 care team supporting an individual with a severe form of cerebral palsy, visual impairment, epilepsy, and palliative care needs.
This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care in a calm, familiar home setting. The individual enjoys sensory activities such as singing, being read to, spending time in the garden, and relaxing with familiar comforts. They are sensitive to overstimulation, so a calm and intuitive approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care
- Manual handling
- Medication administration (including emergency medication)
- Seizure management
- Suctioning
- Enteral feeding (PEG)
- Supporting non-verbal communication
- Providing emotional and sensory comfort
A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is desirable but no essential.
Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.
You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
Available shifts include:
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 – 17:00

To be successful, you will:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in complex care
- Knowledge in PEG feeding and suctioning
- Emotionally intelligent, patient, and kind
- Able to work collaboratively with family members in the home
- Intuitive and responsive to non-verbal cues
- Be able to commit to the minimum availability of shifts
- Hold the right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
