About The Role
We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support a range of clients across Eastbourne. You will work with infants, children, teenagers and young adults with complex care needs, providing safe, person-centred care within their own homes. Clients may require support with seizure management, oxygen therapy, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, enteral nutrition, and suctioning.
Fully, funded specialist training is provided, with opportunities to upskill and develop advanced clinical competencies. This role is ideal for HCAs looking to enhance their experience in paediatric complex care, community care, and 1:1 support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality personal care and emotional support to infants, children and young adults.
- Carry out clinical care tasks such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, seizure support, oxygen therapy and suctioning (training provided).
- Monitor clients’ wellbeing, recognising changes in condition and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Follow individual care plans, ensuring safe and accurate care for each client’s complex health needs.
- Maintain clear, professional documentation and adhere to all safeguarding, infection control and clinical policies.
- Work collaboratively with families and the wider MDT to promote independence, comfort and quality of life.
A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential.
Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.
You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
