About The Role
We are a provider of complex community healthcare services, employing 250+ highly skilled healthcare professionals to support clients across Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire.
As a result of continued growth, we are creating a new opportunity for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day HR operations of the business and support the delivery of an effective, compliant and people-focused HR service.
Based within our stunning head office in Kent, with occasional travel to our branch locations, you will work closely with the HR Director and wider HR team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the HR function. You will provide practical HR support and guidance, manage junior team members and help ensure the organisation maintains high standards of compliance and employee engagement.
This is a part-time position where you will ideally work either:
- 30hrs pw 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday, or
- 32hrs pw 9am – 5pm x4 days pw
Duties & responsibilities of the role will include:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the HR function, working closely with the HR Director and other members of the HR Department
- Provide support and guidance to managers on employee relations matters and the application of HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation.
- Manage and support junior members of the HR team, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services.
- Monitor and oversee absence management processes, supporting managers with attendance-related matters.
- Ensure the effective operation, integration and day-to-day oversight of HR systems.
- Produce and analyse HR reports, undertake audits and support compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure policies and departmental procedures are implemented consistently across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the ongoing development of the HR function.
- Build positive relationships with managers and stakeholders to support operational objectives and promote best practice.

About You
You will be an experienced HR professional with strong operational HR knowledge, which you will have ideally gained through working at a management or senior level within healthcare or another regulated environment. In addition, you will also have:
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.
- Proven experience managing and developing team members.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing employee relations matters, including complex disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using HR systems and producing reports and audits.
