We’re taking part in the Delmeza Easter Egg hunt in Kent on the 30th March 2018!

The Demelza Hospice care for Children are having their second Easter Egg hunt on Friday 30th March 2018 and our Kent team taking part to support the great cause! This event is open to children of all ages at a charge of only £2.50 per ticket.

There isn’t only the hunt, there are also plenty of stalls and refreshments to keep everyone entertained.

A great family day out in support of an amazing hospice

Demelza provide professional one-to one care and support to children, babies, and young people.

Every child that is admitted to the Demelza Hospice Care for Children has their own bedroom with a specialist bed, cot and ensuite bathroom. The young people that stay at Demelza are given specially designed bedrooms designed to enhance their levels of independence whilst they stay there.

Their Kent facility has lots of wonderful therapy services including;

A hydrotherapy pool that enables children and young people to swim with their loved ones, something that they are often not able to do in public swimming pools.

HMS Demelza- Their wheelchair accessible pirate ship playground offers children in wheelchairs the opportunity to play on their swings, roundabout, hammock, and more!

Soft Play- This colourful play facility is a wonderful space for children in need of care to have fun in a safe space and is great for family time using sensory play.

Music Room- Their music room has a selection of wonderful musical equipment for the children and young adults in their care to use. They also have recording equipment so that they can lay down tracks. This space is perfect for one to one and group music therapy sessions.

They also have an Art Room, Sensory Room, Computer Room, and TIZ Room.
